Took the dealership 5 months, 4 times in service and a lot of angry phone calls in order to figure it out. Best of luck!

You will most likely need to spray water from all angles, with good pressure, to find the leaking area. Good luck and welcome to the forum. While condensation builds up inside the HVAC box the water draining needs somewhere to go, this is why normally when you run the air conditioning you see a puddle form underneath the car.Kia has a factory defect with the glass sunroof sealant adhesion on the sorento. The water on the Passenger side FLoor can be caused by several systems. There is a "Drain Hose" behind the Carpet that allows the AC Condensation to drip out under the vehicle. If it's clogged or come off it will leak onto the floor. Additionally if the vehicle has a Sunroof, the system uses "Drain Hoses" and there are 4 of them. It has been back to the dealer 9 times for this issue. No one seems to know for sure if the leak is coming from the fire wall or maybe the door seals. The water accumulates on the floor towards the firewall and passenger door. 1. Lift the hood and go towards the passenger side of the vehicle. There you will find the AC drain, an “L” shaped boot directing towards the ground. 2. Remove the tube from the place where it connects to the rest of the vehicle. 3. Inspect the tube to see if it is clogged. 4. Remove any debris or dirt from the tube.You could have a leaking rubber hose or the heater control valve in the rear area. The coolant leak will need to have the cooling system pressure tested to see if a hose or component is leaking in the rear heater system. If you lose all the coolant, the engine will overheat and can cause engine damage.
